Resist the drift. No images? Click here
Small compromises don’t feel like much. Until they become the shape of your life. Here’s an uncomfortable truth: no one drifts towards holiness. No one wakes up one day and finds himself a better man, a stronger husband, a more faithful follower. Character doesn’t work that way. But drift? Drift is effortless. It arrives one small, unknowing compromise at a time – a habit formed here, a line moved there – until one day you look up, and realise the current has been carrying you somewhere you didn’t mean to go. John Stott put it plainly: "Holiness is not a condition into which we can drift." And if we’re not actively moving toward Christ, we are drifting toward something else. Pride. Greed. Lust. Envy. Gluttony. Wrath. Sloth. Not dramatically. Not all at once. Just quietly, consistently, one small compromise at a time. Every man is becoming someone. The question is who. That’s the question BASECAMP 2027 is built around.
Pursue Christ. Resist Drift.Together we’ll look honestly at the trajectory of our lives – and explore what it actually means to stop drifting with the current and start moving with purpose toward the One who calls us into men of lasting character. It’s the kind of conversation that’s hard to have alone. And exactly the kind BASECAMP was made for. Tickets are on sale now! Grab a few mates, and lock it in.
