*A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or a holder of an international student card (submitted in English). Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. You may be asked to provide proof of your student status at the conference, and charged the full ticket rate if this cannot be provided.

BASECAMP Cancellation Policy
In-Person
Registration cancellations must be made in writing via email to KCC. All registration cancellations for KCC in-person events are non-refundable after the event cancellation cut-off date. Any ticket cancellation requests received prior to or on Friday 25 June 2027 will be provided a choice of a 50% refund issued, or a transfer to a livestream ticket for the same event. Ticket transfers to other people for in-person events can be arranged if you request this to the KCC office via email prior to the event.
Any accommodation booking cancellations must also be made in writing via email to KCC. All accommodation cancellations for KCC in-person events are non-refundable after the accommodation cancellation cut-off date of Friday, 25 June 2027. Please see the Accommodation page for specific refund dates.
