God’s word is "useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." BASECAMP is an opportunity to focus the application of God’s word on the challenges and opportunities that men experience. This year, Alasdair Groves will preach on the theme: "Unravelling Emotions". We’ll also hear a short talk from local speaker, Peter Sondergeld, on the topic of “Shame and Anger”.

BASECAMP is not only an opportunity for you to be fed from God’s word, but also to be fed alongside the men from your church. Listen, discuss, and share together – as Christian brothers running the race together.

Get practical wisdom during program segments.

During our program, we have times where Christian men share practical wisdom from personal experience for living all of life for Christ’s glory.

Last year, Tony McLellan and Jason Downs shared how God has impacted and shaped their lives for Him. We also heard from Jeremy Ward on the topic of busyness – why we’re busy and the role of the desires in our hearts. He gave us some practical steps to help us move forward in a positive direction.

Build strong relationships.

BASECAMP provides a space for men to spend much-needed time together. During breaks and travelling to and from the event, men share their lives and their struggles and develop friendships that will help them to stand firm.

Meet with thousands of other brothers.

It is a great encouragement for men to meet with their brothers all ages, stages, vocations, locations and denominations. In 2022, BASECAMP welcomed men from 18 denominations and 220 churches.
