It’s time to get refuelled

Between 2006-2010, New Atheism was a big deal. ‘The God Delusion’ and ‘God is Not Great, How Religion Poisons Everything’ were best-sellers. Richard Dawkins was wildly popular and his New Atheist peers were loud and angry critics of religion and especially Christianity. Being a Christian was seen as both stupid and dangerous.

But far from heralding the end of Christianity, it appears that sparked a resurgence of interest. Today, Richard Dawkins calls himself a ‘cultural Christian’. Ayaan Hirsi Ali has come to faith. Russell Brand has been baptised and encouraging his book club to read Mere Christianity!

We remember that "The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever.” Isaiah 40:8
